AirGo is a smart cycling helmet with a built in air filtration system. It allows cyclists to breathe freely in polluted urban environments without the need to wear a pollution mask.
Research has shown that breathing in polluted urban air can have a detrimental effect on health, which can result in asthma, heart attacks and strokes. These impacts are multiplied for cyclists who breathe in 10-20 times more air than sedentary people.
AirGo creates a curtain of fresh filtered air on the cyclists face. Ambient air is actively filtered and delivered to the cyclist’s nose and mouth area, pushing away polluted air at the same time. AirGo is battery powered and the filters are exchangeable.
